ISLAMABAD: Intermediate Secondar Education Board Peshawar emerged champion of the Inter-Board Sports Boys Gala that concluded at the Pakistan Sports Complex courts Wednesday. Faisalabad emerged hockey champion. Lahore finished second while Peshawar had to content with third position. Faisalabad beat Lahore 4-3 to take top position in hockey. Kabir, Habib, Qayyum and Muddassar scored a goal each. Imad scored a brace for Lahore while Ibrahim netted once. Peshawar beat Multan 2-1 in badminton final to win top position. Gujranwala finished third. Kohat wrested football honours beating Faisalabad 2-1 in the final. Malakand outplayed Peshawar 4-2 for third position. Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Minister Dr Fahmida Mirza was the chief guest and distributed trophies among position-holders.
