Robbers kill shopkeeper on resistance

LAHORE: Robbers killed a shopkeeper on resistance in the Akbari Gate police limits on Tuesday. The victim has been identified as Nasir. He was present at his shop when robbers barged into his shop and demanded valuables. One of the robbers opened fire when Nasir offered resistance . Two robbers were looting a bakery near Karbala Gamay Shah. On being informed a constable Ilyas reached the scene. The robbers opened firing in a bid to flee. The constable retaliated and killed a robber. A passerby received injuries.
