NAWABSHAH: President Ladies Wing Pakistan Peoples Party and MPA Sindh Assembly, Faryal Talpur said that she had no desire to become the chief minister as she was not a leader but a humble party worker. She was responding to the slogans of "Adi Faryal Talpur as Chief Minister" raised by workers at a reception on Tuesday.
Talpur was addressing a reception hosted by the PPPP workers at the Farsi colony. She clarified that she does not want to be the chief minister. She said that Bilawal Bhutto is the leader of PPPP and we all must strengthen the hands of the party chairman. Talpur said that PPP has always given employment to the youth of Sindh and it would continue doing so. Talpur said that she has asked the chief minister Sindh to provide jobs to the youth on merit. She said that her life is full of trials and tribulations, adding that she endured the prison term. Talpur said that she was granted bail on merit as she was innocent and charged that NAB had filed a false case against her.
The reception was largely attended among others by Chairman Public Accounts Committee in the Sindh Assembly Ghulam Qadir Chandio, Siraj Qasim Soomro, Ashiq Hussain Zardari and several party workers.
