LAHORE: A detailed meeting of Public Accounts Committee-2 (PAC-II) chaired by MPA Syed Yawar Bokhari Tuesday termed the appointment of Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Saaf Pani Company illegal and against the rules. The PAC has ordered recovery of Rs 17million drawn as salary from Wasim Ajmal. The PAC also issued instructions for recovery of Rs 60 million from two local companies-hired foreigners as consultants for the project.
