‘Business community under immense pressure due to increased taxes’
BAHAWALPUR: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry president Anjum Nisar has said that the country’s industrial sector and business community are under immense pressure due to high rates of oil and gas and increased taxes.
Addressing the members of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the FPCCI president said that if the rulers had not paid attention to resolve the business community and industrial sector genuine problems, than our existing industry sector would soon become sick.
He said that its crucial time to review our policies to provide flourishing atmosphere for the business, industrial and agriculture sectors otherwise it would become difficult to revive our sick industry keeping in view of prevailing situation.
Earlier, Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Javed Iqbal in his welcome speech highlighted the problems of the BCCI members and business community.
