Landlady kills maid for not cleaning house properly

FAISALABAD: A 20-yaer-old maid was allegedly clubbed to death by her landlady at Chak 413/GB, Tandlianwala, on Monday.

Reportedly, Musarrat Bibi was allegedly clubbed to death by Uzma Bibi, wife of Pir Syed Rizwan Ali Shah, for not cleaning the house properly. The body of Musarrat Bibi was allegedly being shifted for disposal in an ambulance a police party deputed at Mari Pattan searched the ambulance and found the body.

The police informed the Tandlianwala police about the matter and they took the body in custody. Sadar police have registered a case on the report of Sarfraz Ahmad, brother of Musarrat Bibi. Meanwhile, CM Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and directed RPO Rifat Mukhtar to depute a senior police officer to launch an investigation of the case.

Bushra Akhtar from the Institute of Pharmacy, Physiology and Pharmacology, M Asad-ur-Rehman Naseer from the Institute of Agricultural and Resource Economics; Ali Hassan from the National Institute of Food Science and Technology, M Ashfaq from Department of Entomology, M Asif from the Department of Forestry and Range Management, Sajeela Akram from National Institute of Food Science and Technology, Aisha from the Department of Biochemistry, Muneeb Khan from the National Institute of Food Science and Technology, Amjad Rehman from the Department of Rural Sociology, Shazia Batool from Department of Botany, Nabila Rashid and Sabiha from the National Institute of Food Science and Technology and Sobia Kanwwal from the Department of Zoology, Wildlife and Fisheries, have passed their final examination for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (2019).
