KARACHI: Pakistan’s 13 squash players have entered six international events which are to be held in February.
The first event is $10,000 Life Time Atlanta Open, to be held from February 5-9 in the US. In this event, Arshad Iqbal Burki and Hamza Shah Bukhari are in the main draw. Nosherwan Khan got wild card.
Asim Khan will play the $20,000 Oregon Open that is scheduled in the US from February 11-15. Ammad Fareed is third seed in the $5000 Guilfoyle Squash Classic to be held in Canada from February 18-22.
Naveed Rehman, Nouman Khan, Abdul Qadir, Salman Saleem, Haseeb Taj, and Ibrahim Noorani will feature in $5000 Mount Royal University Open in Canada from February 19-23. Tayyab Aslam is to play prestigious Troilus Gold Canada Cup that is scheduled in Toronto from February 21-25. Noor Zaman is to play the $5000 Cib Egyptian Tour 4 in Cairo from February 24-28.
