According to a news report, doctors pronounced Rasheeda Bibi, 50, dead after she was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Karachi on Wednesday, January 8. The hospital staff put her in the morgue where she remained for 45 minutes.
However, while she was being bathed, Rasheeda opened her eyes, proving that she was still alive. The hospital administration then kept her in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she finally passed away, again, the next day. As Mirza Ghalib once said, “Mujaih Kya Bura Tha Marna, Agar Aik Baar Hota.”
