ISLAMABAD: The Oman Embassy in Islamabad will receive condolences today (Monday) here at its premises on the demise of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, who died in Muscat on Friday and buried on the following day.
Oman’s Ambassador Sheikh Muhammad bin Umar Al-Marhoon will receive the guests at the embassy situated in street 67 of F-7/3 sector of Islamabad. The diplomats and staff of the embassy will also be present on the occasion.
The embassy sources said that condolence book will be opened in the mission today (Monday) and it will be remained available for three days. The national flag of Oman has been lowered to half-mast and it will keep flowing in the state for forty days as part of mourning.
