Relief items distributed among families of Mardan police martyrs
MARDAN: District Police Officer Sajjad Khan on Thursday distributed relief items among the families of the police martyrs. Addressing the family members of the martyrs and serving personnel, he said that the martyrs had sacrificed their lives for the country and the nation and their services could not be forgotten. He assured the heirs of police martyrs to solve their problems and approach him in this respect. Besides scores of policemen and relatives of the police martyrs, DSP Headquarters Shakeel Khan, local elder Manzoor Hussain and journalists also attended the event. On the occasion, the heirs of police martyrs and several serving personnel informed the DPO of their problems and the official issues on the spot directives to officials concerned to resolve the issues. Earlier, he placed floral wreath at the memorial of police martyrs and offered fateha. On behalf of the district police, the DPO distributed cash amounts among the serving policemen and different household items among the heirs of the martyrs.
