CNS International Squash attracts 15 foreign players
KARACHI: The 14th CNS International Squash Championship has attracted 15 foreign players. The event will be played in Karachi from February 4-8.
World No 49 Ivan Yuen from Malaysia is the top seed. The other seeded cueists include World No 69 Mazen Gamal from Egypt, Hong Kong’s Henry Leung and Tsz Kwan Lau, Syafiq Kamal from Malaysia, Angus Gillams from Scotland, Pakistan’s Tayyab Aslam and Asim Khan, Chi Him Wong from Hong Kong, Addeen Idrakie from Malaysia, Moustafa El Sirty from Egypt, Ammar Altamimi from Kuwait, Fabien Verseille from France, and Pakistan’s Farhan Zaman, Farhan Mehboob, and Amaad Fareed.
Pakistan Navy, the organisers, have given wildcard entries to Faraz Muhammad and Abdul Saeed. The unseeded players are Omar ElKattan and Shady El Sherbiny from Egypt, Matthew Lai and Harley Lam from Hong Kong, and Pakistan’s Danish Atlas and Israr Ahmed.
