LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has caught a man impersonating as a food safety officer and handed him over to police. PFA Director General Irfan Memon said that acting on a tip-off, the vigilance cell of the authority conducted a special operation against Zahid Ali, who had been posing himself as a food safety officer to mint money from small food business operators in the name of the PFA. The imposter minted money from many food business operators in Lahore and Faisalabad. He said the PFA had also recovered a fake service card, a challan form and a notice book from his custody during the raid. Meanwhile, the DG has appreciated the team for conducting a successful operation.
