Body of missing govt employee found

SUKKUR: The body of a missing government employee was found in Mirwah Canal Khairpur on Monday.

Reports said 15 days ago, a provincial government employee at Sindh Secretariat Karachi Bilawal Memon mysteriously disappeared from Khairpur. The parents of the missing man had registered a complaint at the A-Section Police Station Khairpur over his disappearance. Meanwhile, five days ago a mobile phone and slippers of the missing youth were recovered from an abandoned place. The parents thought that their boy was allegedly kidnapped. The body was found floating on the surface of the Mirwah Canal near Simug Bridge Khairpur and was later identified as a Bilawal Memon. The police said investigation was underway to find the cause of the death as either it was a case of suicide or killing.
