There was no stopping Hamza in the first game which saw him dictating from the word go. The second game was a bit closer as Shohdy reduced the gap and was at 7-6 at one stage.

Hamza stormed to 7-1 lead in the third when Shohdy played some entertaining squash to plug the gap at 7-6 and then 8-7. Couple of misses by the Egyptian gave Hamza easy opportunity to close the match which he did with a drop shot.
