US wants to impose war on Muslims: Siraj
TIMERGARA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Senator Sirajul Haq said on Saturday that US President Donald Trump wanted to impose a war on Muslims just to conceal his failures. Speaking at a news conference at Ahyaul Uloom Balambat, the JI chief called on the responsible Islamic countries to play their role to de-escalate the current US-Iran tension to stop the possible third world war. Former member national assembly (MNA) Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, JI Lower Dir deputy general secretary Malik Sher Bahadar Khan, secretary information Shoaib Ahmad Khan and Maulana Javed Iqbal were also present on the occasion. Sirajul Haq said that neither the government nor leader of the opposition took the JI into confidence regarding the Army Act. He criticised the government for imposing new taxes on a daily basis. “Those forces which denoted Imran Khan as Junaid Baghdadi tried their level best to prove him as Socrates of this age but the PM failed to run even a house,” he said, adding that parliament had been turned into an ordinance factory instead of a legislating body whereas the house had become a centre for abuses, instead of legislation.
