MULTAN: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aamir Khattak Friday directed the officers concerned to make all water filtration plants in the city functional in four days. Presiding over a meeting regarding clean drinking water facility, the DC snubbed officers concerned over failure to make the filtration plants functional. He said Multan was in competition with 12 cities regarding facilities for the public. The DC announced installation of water filtration plants at Shujabad and Jalalpur Pirwala Kutchery with the help of local philanthropists. He said Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Ahmed Raza would be focal person for the project.
