FAISALABAD: The District Bar Association (DBA) on Friday staged a sit-in in front of the district and sessions judge court to press itsdemand for the establishment of a Lahore High Court bench in Faisalabad.
The protesters, led by Malik Safira Khan Wasir, chanted slogans against the Punjab government for its failure to issue a notification for setting up the LHC bench. The lawyers expressed their determination to launch a campaign in Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Sargodha divisions to motivate the people to support their just demand. Later, the DBA members held a meeting.
