National Women’s Football in progress

LAHORE: The 12th National Women’s Football Championship final round matches were played on the second day at Karachi United Stadium. In the final round matches of the championship, JAFA FC played against Wapda while Karachi United faced Gilgit in Group B matches.

Wapda cruised to a comfortable win against JAFA FC in the first match with the full time score of 5-0 as Mahnaz scored 2 goals while Shanzey Nazeer, Dowa Jilani and Fatima all scored 1 goal each. In the second match home team Karachi United thrashed Gilgit Baltistan by 8-0. Soha scored 4 goals, Nina scored 2 goals whereas Alina and Naqia scored 1 goal each.
