Hamza reaches British Open Jr Squash 4th round
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hopeful M Hamza Khan (Pak) made it to the fourth round of the British Open Junior Squash under-15 category beating local lad Thomas Greengrass in the third round in Birmingham on Friday.
According to reports reaching here Hamza beat Greengrass 11-5, 11-2, 11-3 in almost one-sided affair. Anas Ali Shah (Pak) also made it to the fourth round of the category beating Juan Jose (Columbia) in a hard fought match 11-8, 11-8, 11-8.
M Ammad (Pak) beat Tay Jun Qian (MAS) also in straight games 11-4, 12-10, 11-8 also in under-15 category.In under-17 category, Noor Zaman (Pak) prevailed over Karim Farrag (Czech Republic) 11-7, 11-3, 13-11 to make it to the fourth round.Asad Ullah Khan (Pak) however lost his under-17 category match against Denis Hilevskiy (Ireland). The Irish boy won 11-7, 11-9, 11-4.
