548 recruits of Mohmand Rifles pass out
GHALLANAI: Some 548 recruits of the Mohmand Rifles, a paramilitary wing of the Frontier Corps (FC), passed out here on Thursday. Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Major General Rahat Naeem was the chief guest on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Iftikhar Alam, Member Provincial Assembly Abbasur Rehman, Brigadier Rauf, Commandant Muhammad Jamil and tribal elders also attended the ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, IGFC said that tribal people and security forces had rendered matchless sacrifices in war against terrorism and restoration of peace in the erstwhile tribal region. He said that peace had now been restored and the phase of development had started. The official said cadet college, Mohmand dam and model school were given as gift to the people of Mohmand district for their unflinching support to the law enforcing agencies during the war on terror and militancy.
