291 receive training, certificates for driving in Mardan
MARDAN: Around 291 people received their certificates upon the completion of driving course at the Mardan Traffic Police Driving School on Tuesday.
District Police Officer Sajjad Khan was the chief guest at the ceremony, which was also attended by DSP Traffic Jamilur Rehman, driving school principal Irshad Khan, and other staff, besides those who had undergone training.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajjad Khan said that accidents and harm could be avoided if people followed traffic rules and remained patient while driving on the roads.
“Not only the driving techniques, but the trainees are also provided information on various vehicles and tolerance while driving, and in addition, classes are arranged to discuss how to utilise the Police Assistance Lines, Police Access Service and Dispute Resolution Council with an aim to raise awareness among public about police reforms,” he added.
Meanwhile, the police in Mardan arrested 25 suspects in an operation in the limits of Jabbar Police Station and recovered two Kalashnikovs, one Kalakov, five pistols and 94 bullets.
