LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Social Welfare Raja Basharat congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the Lahore Press Club, saying that the choice of newly-elected President Arshad Ansari, Senior Vice-President Rai Hasnain Tahir, Secretary Babar Dogar, Secretary Finance Zahid Sherwani and other officials is a testament to their professionalism.

He said that journalism is the fourth pillar of society while pleasant relations between government and journalists are essential for the stability of democracy. Raja Basharat added that the PTI government, led by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, has solved the long-standing problems of the journalist community in Punjab.
