LAHORE: Workshops Division lifted the trophy of Pakistan Railways Inter-Divisional Gymnastics Championship held at the Islamia College Civil Lines here.
The winners secured first position with overall 70 points while Lahore Division and Railways Police jointly took second position. Former Principal Islamia College Civil Lines Painda A Malik. who was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony, distributed prizes among the players. Sports Officer Railways Tariq Mehmood was also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile in the volleyball competition, played at Railways Mughalpura Institute courts, the Workshops Division won the trophy by scoring a total of 100 points. Peshawar Division with 70 points were second and Lahore Division secured third position. Later on Sports Officer Workshops Division Mohammad Saqlain distributed prizes among the players as special guests.
