KARACHI: Tayyab Aslam was Pakistan’s most successful player in squash in 2019. He won three PSA international events in the outgoing year, making it his best year.
Tayyab clinched the titles of $10,000 Sindh Squash Championship, $20,000 Pakistan International Squash Tournament, and $10,000 International Men’s Squash Championship.
The country’s second top-ranked player Asim Khan won only one PSA event and that was $10,000 Pakistan Squash Circuit-I. No Pakistani squash player could win any PSA international event outside the country in 2019. The events won by Tayyab and Asim were held in Pakistan.
