MARDAN: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) provincial president Khanzada Khan on Thursday announced to support the Awami National Party (ANP) in forming government in the district. Addressing a news conference at his residence, Khanzada said the PPP would support ANP and JUI-F in forming the district government. He added that on the directives of party leadership, they had decided to support the ANP. The PPP leader added that the party workers had reservations over alliance with the ANP. However, ANP leaders would remove the reservations of PPP workers in future, he added. He said the district nazim would be elected from the ANP and district naib nazim from the PPP. ANP district president Ameer Haider Hoti, JUI-F district chief Maulana Mohammad Qasim, Rahimdad Khan and other leaders of PPP, ANP and JUI-F were also present on the occasion.
