LAHORE:The English Literary Society held a special session on “Lahore City of Literature” declared by UNESCO. Amna Ali, focal person of LCL, and writers Kanwal Feroze, Prof. Anwarul Haq, Rubia Jilani, Shiraz Altaf, Asim Shujaee and others said the city would promote oriental and occidental literature with cultural mobility. They said writers' creative work, literary activities, formation of book markets and publishing and translation centers would bring about literary revolution.
