Zardari trying to get clean slate for Bilawal: Sh Rashid
KARACHI: The Federal Railways Minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, has said the Chairman of Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is in the danger (of getting arrested) as he would be found involved in money laundering like Maryam Nawaz. Talking to newsmen here on Thursday at Karachi Airport, the Railways minister said the former president Asif Ali Zardari is trying to get a clean chit for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The former president, he said is working hard to this effect from the hospital. He prayed to God to show right path to the PPP chairman. The minister said the next one-and-half-months are important for national politics as Prime Minister Imran Khan would be able to overcome the national situation during this period. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan would complete his five-term of office. To a question, Sheikh Rashid said there is no issue concerning the extension in service of the incumbent COAS as whatever method is suggested for the purpose it would be adopted. He said he does not foresee any clash among the institutions over the issue. He said the Muslim community in India had taken to streets for a revolution and that would not be tolerated by the Modi government. He said it is possible that India might attempt aggression on the Pakistan-Indian border and in view of this situation the nation should be prepared to meet any eventuality.
