This refers to the article ‘Reading the judgment’ (Dec 25) by Mohammad Zubair. It was indeed comforting to read a balanced viewpoint on this controversial issue. The writer has rightly mentioned excessive polarization in favour or against the judgment on the trial of Pervez Musharraf.
It was distressing to see partisanship overtaking fairness and impartiality in the interpretation of the judgment by different segments of society.
