‘Driving school playing vital role in training citizens’

Chief Traffic Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema has said driving school of City Traffic Police has been playing a vital role in training citizens about safe driving and traffic rules and regulations.
He said this while addressing 22nd batch of the driving school in which 77 people including 33 women participated. Yasutaka Uda and Tasleem Shuja of a private company officials participated in the ceremony.
CTO informed that 10,395 citizens including 545 ladies have been trained at the school. The guests distributed certificates and prizes among the participants. Out of the total trained citizens, 125 are doctors, 135 engineers, 105 teachers, 15 gazetted officers of FIA and NAB and 8 nationals of Turki and China.
DACOITS HELD: CIA Saddar police claimed to have arrested three members of inter district Haji Dacoit Gang and recovered booty and illegal weapons from their custody. The arrested accused have been identified as Ishtiaq alias Haji, Sakhawat Ali and Ramzan. Police have also traced 65 cases against them. DIG Investigation Sultan Ch has announced cash prize and commendatory certificates for the police team.
