Man gunned down over ‘freewill marriage’

A man was shot dead for marrying the woman of his choice in Korangi on Wednesday. Sohail succumbed to his injuries while he was being conveyed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

While sharing the findings of the initial investigation, police said two unidentified men riding a motorcycle shot and killed Sohail over his freewill marriage. Police are looking for the victim’s family and witnesses to trace the suspects. No case has been registered while an investigation is underway.
