Lakki Marwat gets new tehsil

LAKKI MARWAT: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government issued notification for giving the status of tehsil to Ghaznikhel areas in Lakki Marwat district on Tuesday. An official communiqué stated that in the exercise of the powers conferred by the Section-6, Sub-section (1&2) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Land Revenue Act 1967, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is pleased to declare Ghaznikhel areas in Lakki Marwat district as tehsil with immediate effect. It added that the area consists of 29 Patwar Halqas and 53 Mouzajat (villages). The Patwar Halqas included Ghaznikhel, Jabukhel, Titterkhel Guli Jan, Daulat Tajazai, Bega Tajazai, Kakakhel, Masha Mansoor, Langerkhel Pacca, Tabi Murad, Shahbazkhel, Hayatkhel, Darra Pezu, Asgharkhel, Badnikhel, Chourkhel, Abdulkhel, Jangkhel, Samandar Titterkhel, Mandrakhel, Zangikhel, Bachkin Ahmedzai, Adamzai, Daraka, Behramkhel, Khankhel Mandozai, Bakhmal Ahmedzai, Tajori, Paharkhel Pacca and Khairukhel Pacca.
