Glowing tributes paid to APS martyrs in Multan
MULTAN: Activists of the People’s Lawyers Forum Monday paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS) and held a candlelight vigil on the premises of the Multan District Bar on Monday. The PLF activists were led by south Punjab PLF president Sheikh Ghiasul Haq. On the occasion, Sh Ghiasul said sacrifices of the APS martyrs united the nation against terrorism. He said the APS martyrs are heroes of the nation. He said the government of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) had launched an operation against terrorists and restored peace in the country.
PLF office-bearers Naveed Hashmi, Asim Pervez Khan and others also spoke. Meanwhile, civil society activists and students took out a big rally to pay tributes to the APS martyrs from Qadirpur Rawan.
