BARA: A member of the National Assembly from the Khyber tribal district on Sunday said that the government would launch mega projects in Bara subdivision.
Talking to reporters at the Bara Press Club here, MNA Iqbal Afridi said that the government had decided to launch development projects in Bara and Tirah tehsils soon. He said that infrastructure had been destroyed in the years long militancy. “Now, the government has allocated Rs 30.5O billion for Spiral Dam in Bara,” Iqbal Afridi said, adding, that the PC-1 of project had already prepared. He added said he had collected Rs o.6 million donation from the people for Sipra Dam’s construction.
The MNA maintained that Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced to build Bara Bypass during his visit to Tirah valley and work on the project would be launched soon. Iqbal Afridi said that the destroyed schools reconstruction work would be completed soon. He stated that work on the 42 kilometer road from Bara to Mastakin in lower Tirah had been started which would be over before long.
