QUETTA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the 18th Constitutional Amendment is being attacked while installing “selected”.
Addressing party workers’ convention, here on Sunday, he said masses were the real source of power and his party could not tolerate injustice to the people. He said the PPP ensured the rights of the provinces under the 18th Amendment. Bilawal maintained the current “selected” government did not want to give development opportunities to the people of Balochistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), adding the power was being given to “selected while snatching it from masses”.
He said no amnesty scheme was introduced for small businessmen and no bailout package was given to farmers. He said the Bhutto’s third generation was facing trial, adding former president and party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari would never compromise on his principles. “We will make people’s government with the support of general public,” he said.
