Five killed in DI Khan road accident

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five persons were killed and eight others sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and pickup truck on the Daraban Road early Friday, sources said.
They said that a passenger bus (BSA-728) was heading to Quetta from Islamabad via Dera Ismail Khan when it collided with a pickup truck loaded with tomatoes on Daraban Road near a grid station. Five persons were killed and eight others injured in the road accident.
Four of the dead were identified as Fahim Khan, Aminullah, Said Rehman and Lal Khan. The identity of the injured could not be ascertained. They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital. The police registered a case against the drivers of both the vehicles and started investigation.
