LAHORE: A protest against lawyers’ attack on Punjab Institute of Cardiology, and a walk to express solidarity with PIC victims held here at Lahore General Hospital in which professors, doctors, nurses and leaders of grand health alliance jointly participated. They were carrying placards having slogans to express solidarity with the medical staff of PIC while all the participants were also wearing black armbands. This walk started from Admin Block and ended at PINS of LGH where a number of participants strongly criticised the lawyers’ behaviour. Dr Qasim Awan and Dr Amaar Yousaf said the incident had given bad name to our country at international level and now it is high time that culprits of this incident be given exemplary punishment.
