Karak varsity, Baitul Mal sign MoU

KARAK: Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak and Pakistan Baitul Mal signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to help underprivileged students in their higher studies.
The MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mirza Jan and Baitul Mal Managing Director Aun Abbas at the university campus here on Thursday. Aun Abbas said his department had signed MoUs with 80 higher education institutions across the country to help the poor and the needy students.
He added that Rs1.1 billion was being spent on the treatment of the poor segments of the society, besides fund being spent on orphanages across the country.
