Bilawal strongly condemns Lahore incident
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Wednesday condemned the incident of Lahore.
He said, “Shocking scenes from Lahore as the latest episode of absolute anarchy in the capital of Punjab.” Bilawal said through his twitter account that with the party that once attacked Parliament now in power we are witnessing trickle down fascism. “Lawyers attacking a hospital, off limits even at times of war, is a new low for us,” he said. He stated that not only does this incident require complete accountability but also collective introspection as to where we have allowed ourselves to fall as a nation in Imran Khans ‘Naya Pakistan’. “We are better than this. Pakistan is better than this,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Wednesday said he will give one message from Rawalpindi jalsa of 27th December that even today the people are firm in their resolve that all powers belong to the people.
“It is a very important decision to hold rally in Liaquat Bagh and we will send a message that we cannot and will not bow,” he said while chairing a meeting of the PPP Rawalpindi division’s office bearers and workers here Wednesday at Zardari House. Bilawal said he will visit all the four provincial capitals and invite people to Liaquat Bagh rally.
