Pakistan beat India in SAG squash final
ISLAMABAD: A gold medal for men and a silver for women in the team event of the squash tournament were the highlights of the last day’s performance for Pakistan in the 13th South Asian Games that concluded in Nepal on Tuesday.
Pakistan beat India 2-1 to win the men’s title while Indian women defeated Pakistan by the same margin.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s judokas captured two gold, three silver and four medals.
Overall, Pakistan earned 32 gold, 31 silver and 59 bronze medals to finish fourth behind India, hosts Nepal and Sri Lanka on the medals table.
