2 die as roof collapses in Hangu

HANGU: Two persons, including a minor girl, were killed and as many sustained injuries in a roof collapse in the Thall tehsil of the Hangu district on Sunday, official sources said.
They said the family members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader, Hafiz Alam, were repairing the roof of the kitchen in Naryab area when it collapsed, burying three women and a minor girl under the debris. The locals and police rescued the victims but an eight-year-old girl identified as Farah and a 23-year-old woman died while two other women sustained injuries.
The dead and injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Hangu where the condition of the injured was stated to be precarious.
