PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has announced to hold a huge protest rally in the provincial capital on December 8 (Sunday) as part of Plan-C of the anti-government Azadi March.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman and leaders of other opposition parties would address the demonstration. The decision was taken at the provincial executive council of the party, which met here on Sunday. The party’s provincial president Maulana Ataur Rahman chaired the meeting.
The party’s district presidents also attended the meeting. Different committees were made to make arrangements for the gathering. Addressing the meeting, Maulana Ataur Rahman said there was unrest among the people due to the flawed policies of the incompetent rulers. He said that the JUI-F with the support of other opposition parties had launched the anti-government drive to rid the nation of the rulers who he believed were illegitimate and incapable. “The march has started bearing fruits and it would continue till the ouster of the government,” he went on to add.
