Rawalpindi: Energy shortfall has touched 6,000 mega watts. There is a dire need of developing solar and wind energy projects to add in national grid as a national campaign, said CEO of Tesla Aamer Hussain while talking to journalist here.
He was of the view that our present electricity distribution system was not up to the mark to carry and deliver available energy to the users efficiently. “How can this system bear and deliver more if our government succeeded in lessen the energy shortfall and produce more energy through any source.
Aamer Hussain said government accepted all terms and conditions of foreigner investors in solar energy generation sector which were dangerous and could harm our local industry. “All countries, except from Pakistan, first protect their own industries and then allow any foreigner to work in any sector in their country”, he added.
