The shameful, horrific and tragic activities reported in a village in the Kasur district are truly a sad state of affairs.
While the role of the state, government, local administration and police is rightly being criticised and focused on, I quote Immanuel Kant who once said: “Two things awe me most, the starry sky above me and the moral law within me.” As a nation we need to reflect on this.
