Killer held in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police arrested an accused allegedly involved in the murder of a man last year, police official said on Saturday.
Briefing media persons, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) City Circle, Iftikhar Shah, said that one Sahar Iqbal, alias Mama, resident of Kaglanwala, was killed when he resisted a bid to snatch his bike on September 27, 2019 on Grid Road in the limits of Cantonment Police Station.
He said that the police had launched investigation and arrested one of the accused identified as Umair, alias Mithoo, and recovered the snatched bike.He said that the accused disclosed the names of his accomplices and the police raided the hideouts and arrested another accused, Shahid while Sulaiman was still at large and would be nabbed soon.
