NAWABSHAH: Heaps of garbage has emerged all over the city especially in thickly populated areas of Liaquatabad, Mohni Bazar, Hospital Road and most of the suburb colonies. The gutters are also blocked and sewerage water is overflowing in different parts of the city preventing ladies and children coming out from their houses. Today (Sunday) was the third day of the strike of sanitary staff of Municipal Committee and they staged demonstration in front of Nawabshah Press Club. Addressing the demonstrators, leaders of sanitary staff Waseem Mashi and Kirshan Lal said that they are working as temporary staff since last two decades but astonishingly recently employed 18 staffers have been permanently employed under political bribe.
