KOHAT: Chief of a quami lashkar, the Frontier Region (FR) Kohat, Malik Lais Khan, passed away due to cardiac arrest in the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital here on Sunday. He was 68. His funeral prayer would be held today at his native village, Arakhel, in Jawaki in FR Kohat at 3pm. The sources said that he was shifted to the hospital five days ago after being stung by scorpion during patrolling with his lashkar members in the hilly area of Jawaki. The sources said the doctors had amputated his affected finger, but on Sunday he suffered severe heart attack. He is survived by a widow and four sons.
