PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) has condemned the suicide attack in Shadi Khan town in Attock district and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
In a statement, ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan expressed deep shock and concern over the death of Punjab home minister and seasoned political figure Col (r) Shuja Khanzada and other innocent people.
The ANP leader condemned the brutal act. He said that the incident was an eye-opener for the Punjab government which should strengthen the security of important people and places.
Head of ANP-Wali Begum Nasim Wali Khan in a separate statement also expressed concern over the killing. She prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience to the bereaved families. The elderly politician also prayed for restoration of durable peace in the country.
