The PTDC celebrated Independence Day with zeal and fervour. Flag hoisting ceremony was held at Flashman’s Hotel Rawalpindi where Ali Akbar Malik, General Manager (Flashman’s) hoisted the national flag and distributed sweets among guests.
Whereas Fareed Abbasi, MPA, and Ch. A.D. Tahir, General Manager (Hospitality & Motels), hoisting the flag ceremony at PTDC Motel and also inaugurated the food handicrafts & music festival. Number of food & handicrafts stalls were arranged during the festival.
Fareed Abbasi, MPA, while addressing the participants of the festival said that present government is very keen to promote tourism in the country. He thanked the PTDC for arranging such type of festival at Ayubia on the occasion of Independence Day.
Ch. A.D. Tahir, General Manager (Hospitality & Motels), said that being the national tourism organisation of the country, the PTDC regularly undertakes a number of activities for students and youth groups to introduce and create awareness about tourist attractions of
Pakistan.
PTDC also organised food, handicraft and music festival at its motels in Gilgit, Skardu, Naran. A Large number of Tourist and general public visited the festival. Tourists and general public appreciated effort for organising wonderful event.
