Chief Justice Lahore High Court Manzoor Ahmad Malik hoisted the National Flag atop LHC building Friday morning to mark celebration of 69th Independence Day.
Chief Justice accompanied by senior judges, unfurled national flag atop the LHC building. Chief Justice inspected the guard of honour. After recitation from the Holy Quran, prayers were offered for the solidarity, prosperity and progress of the country.
In his address, Chief Justice said Independence Day reminded us those who had sacrificed their lives and properties for our freedom. He said it was not only a ceremony but our pledge to work for its further development and well-being of its people.
The flag was also hoisted at the Punjab Bar Council building and president Lahore High Court Bar Association Pir Masood Chishti accompanied by other office-bearers and bar members hoisted the flag at the bar office.
