August 6 marked the 70th anniversary of the first atom bomb on Hiroshima. The nuclear holocaust is beyond description. No words can describe the human suffering as a result of nuclear fallout. Instead of discussing nuclear horrors, it is surprising that many writers prefer to justify the use of atom bombs on Japan at a time when it was ready to surrender.
